Miscellaneous Events
With the demise, in 2014, later-2013 and in 2012, of the "Senior Tuesday" events - this Web page has an objective of providing a focal place of information the previously was placed on the Senior Tuesday Webpage.
Information on this page will only be as current as information-is-passed my way (unfortunately, I do not participate in all events; perhaps: When I retire! Seriously: Please pass onto me any information that you feel should be on this page.

Blue tees - blue tee handicap plus 2
White tees - white tee handicap
Black tees - black tee handicap minus 2
Red tees - red tee handicap minus 4
- Drop Zones
As North Ridge is implementing some Drop Zones - Please keep in mind some basics:
- Your ball MUST be in the hazard for you to continue on to the Drop Zone.
For example, on Oaks #9 after your drive, if you are NOT in the hazard, you must continue on with your play as normal - until your ball is in the hazard. Once in the hazard, you may choose to move to the Drop Zone and play from there. Simply add two strokes to your last shot (that put your ball into the hazard) and play on. Why two shots? The penalty shot (for being in the hazard) and for the shot that you are about to make.
Example: Oaks #9: Drive, lay-up short of the hazard, unfortunately hit into the hazard with the next shot, and choose to (then) go to the drop zone. You have hit three shots so far - and, thusly, you are hitting five from the drop zone.
Naturally, if your shot after the lay-up does NOT go into the hazard, you would then hit another shot (your fourth, in this example) possibly into the hazard and you would hit six from the Drop Zone if you choose to do that.
- You do NOT have to use the Drop Zone! If you choose to NOT use the Drop Zone - just play on as you normally do under USGA rules.
(Click
here, to get some USGA-originated info regarding Drop Zones in PDF format
for viewing/printing).
