This Web page contains golf hole pics of North Ridge CC that have been "recently" added to our Website. I put recently in quotes, as I am not sure how often the page will be updated. It depends upon weather/camera-availability when I am on the golf course and other factors. It is intended that the next phase of North Ridge photos will be movies of each golf hole. However, I am in the midst of trying to come up with an approach to do that with my limited camera and captured-video editing experience. It was a wonderful day. Even though, as it was a tournament, we rode carts... We still enjoyed the day. The sun was perfectly placed for photos as we played this, today. I am not sure the collage-approach works -- but, the individual photos are OK. Clubhouse - August 11, 2013 Oaks 4th Second Shot Area - Morning View, August 23, 2013 ----------------------------------------------------------------- Some Lakes' Views My stepdaughter has a nicer camera than I have - and, she has certainly a different "view of things" (as a non-golfer) compared to my normal, boring photos. She was in town recently and I asked her to take some photos on the Lakes Course. A couple of the shots I specifically asked for - but, generally she did her own thing. Thank you, Nicole! When you are on the exact opposite location from this (you will be on the 16th tee) - take a look across to here. We did not do so on this day - but, I will get a photo of such the next time I am on the Lakes 16th tee; it is terrific - depending upon the sun... Lakes 13th Tees Lakes 6th Back Tee

----------------------------------------------------------------- Mid-Summer Dream Oaks 4th Forward Tee - Part of a 9-Hole Golf/Walk Today July 7, 2013 Although not an easy hole to photograph, a fine golf hole to play. If you played Oaks 4th today: The pin (front-right, on a "mound" of the green) - Was in a pin position you don't see very often (thankfully!). Fun. I did not take a picture of the pin placement. Someday, I will - if the pin is ever there again! Let me know if you one-or-two putted Oaks 4th, today: Send mail to: Webmaster@NRCCSeniorMensGolf.org. My wife had a zero-putt and that was fun to see (especially with the pin placement). Our mythical opponent was not pleased.

----------------------------------------------------------------- I Played Three days In A Row - I Made Zero Putts Weekend of June 15th, 2013 Great Weather and Great Golf Courses - And Great Partners! It was worth all the missed iron-shots and missed putts. Looking Back From Oaks 9th Green Area June 15, 2013 I wonder how many times I will take a photo from this spot until I get a "Great Shot"! Oaks 3rd I have a difficult time catching a photo of Oaks #3 that works. Someday.... However, this not toooo bad. Oaks 4th White Tee Friday June 28, 2013 Oaks 4th Green Area - Looking Back The only hole on the Oaks without a bunker. The view, looking back, sometimes is special! Oaks 5th Second Shot Area Oaks 9th Second Shot Area Oaks 9th Green Area - Looking Back Oaks 10th Second Shot This hole has evolved over the years to be a wonderful golf hole. Oaks 11th Blue Tee If you dislike this golf hole - I recommend that you do not play North Ridge. It is one of the four near-perfect holes at North Ridge. Oaks 11th Third Shot After Layup - 175 Yds to Green Some VERY long hitters will have this as their second shot. Oaks 12th Green Area Some of us have this approach shot. Others, enjoy the view as they walk by. We all hope the pin is not back-left. If it is: 3-putt is probable. Oaks 13th Middle Tee Yes, I take this photo a lot. Someday, I will get a "Perfect Shot". They aerated the tees, fairways and greens this week (June 17-20). OK. I just "take advantage" of such and play "Winter Rules" and "Two Putts" and out - for a week or so. Fun. Oaks 14th Green Area The Approach There is room to the right of this green. If you have not had this shot sometime - you, eventually, will. Oaks 16th Second Shot Area - 170 yds to the Green Assuming that you are not in the bunker - just take one more club than you normally think that you should for 170 yds. ----------------------------------------------------------------- January Continues - With Great Wintertime Golf January 20, 2013 Of course.... With typically the coldest two weeks of the year coming up - who knows what will come about. We enjoyed these days, though! Thank you. From the forward tees, this Par-4 could be a terrific Par-3.... Well.... As a Second Shot - Not a bad hole, eh? The next day (on a Monday) I walked a few holes on The Lakes Course. Perhaps one of these photos will be the January photo in the 2014 calendar. I just have to remember and take the time to get the same locations in photos this summer. I think I will remember to do so! Lakes 13th Lakes 14th Lakes 12th - A GREAT Par-4.
