This Web page contains golf hole pics of North Ridge CC that have been "recently" added to our Website. I put recently in quotes, as I am not sure how often the page will be updated. It depends upon weather/camera-availability when I am on the golf course and other factors. It is intended that the next phase of North Ridge photos will be movies of each golf hole. However, I am in the midst of trying to come up with an approach to do that with my limited camera and captured-video editing experience. My wife and I do not play the Lakes as often as we do the Oaks.
However, views such as this on Lakes 13th may lead to a change in our attitude.... but... I love the Oaks.... Quite a problem, eh?
I wonder how many of you remember the tree in the fairway at the bottom of the hill by the lake? It was, actually, a good aiming spot!
I am sure a few of you remember the birdhouse on the right side of where this photo was taken;
"Past the birdhouse" in the old days - "Go For it" with this shot.

It was a beautiful day. Even for practicing!
The golf and the fellowship on the Oaks: Nice. The afterwards' lunch? Not my favorite.
I hope the SGA Championship lunch is more "my taste". We see.... Perhaps, Ice Cream at least?

A front pin. Fun! Yes, I later-on missed the 3-foot putt... It was slightly downhill....

Zero traps on this hole. Are there any other holes at North Ridge that have zero traps? I don't think so....
Oaks 17th Second Shot
This is a HARD 18-hcp golf hole. The second shot is always a challenge.
Yes, I put my second shot into the greenside bunker today.
Again... a missed opportunity.
Some of the joy of playing the Oaks is found in the approach shots on the par 5s. Today, I tried to catch such in photos -- someday I try to improve the quality of the photos. A new challenge! Perhaps, down the road, I try to put together groups of holes/shots. Any good ideas that you have? If so - give me a shout.

First Day of Junior Golf 2012
I am not a "Golf Cart Lover" - but, I thought the lineup was neat.

Only once or twice in one's lifetime will the grass and golf-course be in this green/beautiful condition April 1.
Normally, it is May 1st or, more probably May 15.
For now... We Enjoy - As we will (probably) "pay" for this early-Summer in June/July and August.
Grass is nearly perfect, hardwood trees are getting full - about one month early this year.
What a wonderful place.

Green Grass and Dogwoods are Arriving Early! By about a month....
Oaks 18th Green Waiting for Us The Next Time That We Play
44 days until Dogwoods are Prime (April 6).
82 days until grass is perfect and the hardwood trees are full (May 15).
However, Winter Golf is not toooo bad!
