2018 SGA Match Play Ladder Tournaments 2018 Match Play Rules/Brackets/Schedule/Results are Completed. The information below is not "official!" -- but, it (probably) is accurate! If you know of something incorrect, just get back to me at any of the "Webmaster" links on this page. Scroll down and click on past year's Web links if you are interested in such. Note: The following is placed Here For Info Only. The official sign-up sheet and the SGA Tournament Committee are the source of the official rules. Chris Brumbaugh, of the NRCC Professional Staff, is our primary contact for the Match Play tournaments. Players must be North Ridge SGA members. Deadline to sign up was May 31, 2018. Brackets were posted June 1. First Round was completed between June 1 and June 30. Guiidelines for Arranging Matches See the SGA Bulleting Board for information or ask a member of the SGA Board for information. Basically: Get your match completed by the Due Date. Handicapping the Matches (Last year's rules) Summary: (Remember, the SGA Bulleting Board, Chris Brumbaugh and SGA Board Members are offical sourced for information). Use full handicap. "White Tee Competition" White Tee player uses full White Tee handicap. Black Tee player reduces his Black Tee handcap by two strokes. Blue Tee player increases his Blue Tee handcap by two strokes. Lower handicapped golfer plays the match at scratch. Other player(s) get the full difference between his and the lowest player's Course Handicaps. Player(s) get their strokes on the lowest handicap holes of the course played for the match. (Click below to see a copy-of Handicapping).
