Lotus Organizer

Using a Flatbed Scanner
Note: I use and can demonstrate the ScanMaker Plus E3 flatbed
scanner. Any similar scanner could be part of an agreed-upon
assistance.

Using a Digital Camera and your PC as a team
Digital Cameras are becoming more-and-more popular. I will discuss and demonstrate use of an Olympus D400Zoom digital camera in conjunction with PC applications including PaintShop Pro.
WineWin
Note: WineWin, although aimed at persons who have -- or are developing
-- a wine cellar, may be used by persons who generally enjoy wine or
other beverages which can be input to the approach used in WineWin.

Setting up WineWin to keep track of the wine (or other similar item)
within your cellar location (racks, bins).

have "stored" in WineWin.

QuiltSoft (Used as a block-style design application)
Note: QuiltSoft, although aimed at persons involved in designing and
making fabric quilts, may be used in building a design for use in
discussions with other-than-quilters as a general block-design approach.
The block manipulation and color opportunities offered by QuiltSoft can
be of value as part of general design discussions or as, simply, part
of an enjoyment of block/color combinations.

choosing. Coloring that design and seeing the resultant affects of your
coloring and block manipulation.

Handicalc Plus (Golf Handicapping)
Note: Handicalc Plus is similar to many scoring/handicapping
programs used at golf clubs
throughout the country. It is available for use on your local PC or
laptop and can be used to follow the progress of the player's scores and
where the scores' major contributors are (for example: % in fairway and
number of putts per hole and per round).

becoming familiar with Handicalc input and reporting.

Note: Yes: Basic Programming. Although other programming can be part
of this assistance, at this time I encourage a session or two with
Basic. This assistance can be used to demonstrate programming
fundamentals to persons in your household who may be interested in
developing or enhancing an interest in programming.

Note: None of the assistance hours are aimed at using or
recommending games to be used on your PC or laptop. However, the

Bridge Baron
Note: Bridge Baron is a game which can be shared by two persons.
Knowledge of bridge is required, but Bridge Baron can assist in
increasing that knowledge. Your PC or laptop may have other bridge
programs than Bridge Baron; this assistance set of hours would be aimed
at the following (for your installed bridge program if it was other-than
Bridge Baron).

for use by multiple players. Playing one or multiple hands as part of a
game, involving one or two players. Understanding scoring options (for
example: duplicate or rubber bridge).
