Is Oaks #18 YOUR Favorite NRCC Golf Hole
.... at North Ridge Country Club, Raleigh NC ....
The voting procedure used:
- You decide what is your favorite golf hole (you may vote for up-to-five golf holes) of the 36-holes (Oaks and Lakes courses) at North Ridge. If you want to vote for only one hole - OK. I felt that up-to-five holes' voting would give us a chance to get sufficient votes to have a "true favorite". We see, how that goes.
When you vote, you provide me with your eMail address. Don't worry, I will not publish or otherwise use your eMail address. I will, however, send you a note at the address and wait for a comeback from you before tabulating your vote. That saves time, as there may be computer-generate application programs submitting input. Yes, there are such "idiots" in even such a small Website such as this.
- You may optionally (I hope that you do!) comment on why the voted-for golf hole is your favorite.
I will publish (keeping you anonymous!) some comments that come in.
- I will get back you with your entry, asking for a confirmation from you.

A wonderful par-5 - from any tee. A birdie hole - or “any” score can result if you do not stay in the fairway… or, do not get your approach onto the proper level of the 3-level green. A great match-play hole for matches that carry to the 18th. (ds)
A thrilling hole; I need two great shots. If I am far enough to see around the corner and over the “bump” I know that with a well-struck approach shot I can have a birdie or a par; even with a high handicap! This is one of the holes that you need to “plan” out each shot - and, I enjoy trying to do that. (scs)
